tik tok’s “gen z vs millennial war” is... embarrassing

Hey everyone welcome back to my channel! Today we’re going to be looking at a debate that’s been happening over on our favourite app, Tik Tok! I’m sure if you have the app you’ve probably come across at least one video that’s referenced the current “gen z vs millennial” debate that’s been happening over there, or you may have seen some videos reposted on a different platform. Personally, I’ve been stuck on some pretty niche corners of Tik Tok for the past few months so I actually wasn’t even aware of the conversation until I saw a tweet reposting a video of a millennial responding to the “gen z hate” they get on the platform… in song form (of course).

So after some digging, I managed to find myself on that corner of tik tok and honestly its borderline its own genre on the app considering the range of content being made about the subject so i thought it would be interesting for a video to talk about it! We’re going to look at both sides and how they differ from each other as well as the main debate points that I’ve been able to find, being yoga pants vs flared leggings, skinny jeans vs low cut jeans (or high rise jeans vs skinny jeans), and hair-wise: middle part vs side part. Basically, it seems like they’re arguing over everything lol

There’s definitely been some cringe worthy content that’s come out of this but I also wanted to look at why millennials (spoiler alert) seem to be getting so much more aggravated versus gen z when it comes to arguing over the app, I think this video is also a good chance to get personal feedback from you guys in terms of your opinions on these debates (you don't have to be a millennial or gen z to share your opinion though!), just curious on if you identify with either side and why, or if you’ve got any general thoughts on the idea of generational identities to begin with, i’d love to hear about it as well :)

Hopefully, you guys enjoy the video, feel free to give it a like and subscribe to the channel if you did. If you want to keep up to date, turning my post notifications on and setting them to “all” keeps you updated whenever I upload if you’re interested in that! Thanks again for the support and I’ll see yall in the comments :)
