A video clip from the Army Air Forces film, DZ-Normandy. The video is a simulation on what was supposed to take place during Operation Overlord. This video should give the viewer an insight into how troop carrier operations for the IX Troop Carrier Command were to operate on June 6, 1944. It presents tactics for glider tow take-off and landing, flight routes and beacons. Landing and drop zones are also indicated for airborne and glider, plus re-supply.
