May 19-20, 1998 in Berlin. I visited the Olympic Stadium where Jesse Owens won 4 gold medals in 1936. I also walked the route where the Berlin Wall once stood eight and a half years earlier, including Checkpoint Charlie. And finally, I went to the viewing gallery at the top of the Berlin TV Tower.
