Nangeli Geet is a rich folk culture of Darrang district (Assam). Once upon a time the cowboys (garakhiya) were singing song freely at wide open place with natural beauty in the time of keeping cows among two groups of cowboy. Nangeli geet is one kind of traditional song. Comes fully orally. Few obscene words used in original song.
