Every cut produces a kerf and knowing how to deal with this kerf when trying to mate different pieces of material together can prevent wasted material and frustrated users.

Editors note: at 7:38 I reference setting the kerf to 0 to return to "true to size" which is not technically accurate. I should have said to default or stock size which most saved projects would be using if you haven't introduced kerf before. So by default you're losing 1/2 your kerf on each side of your cut as the beam traces the centerline.
