Crew stands for-Corkscrew Regional Ecosystem Watershed. This area (14,000 acres) has over 12 miles of unpaved trails for running, walking, biking, photography, bird watching and horse back riding. It is also 60,000 acres in total of wild natural habitat with lots of wildlife, including birds, snakes, panthers and alligators! The Kehl canal runs through it which is the headwaters of the Imperial river. The trails can be seasonally wet.
I chose to run on the Yellow trail south which is 3 miles long and then did some of the red trail back to the parking lot for a total of about 4 miles.
I highly recommend it for running.
