Here's a DETAILED DIY showing how I built a custom steel railing for my staircase with stainless steel wire filling in the rest of the open space. I did this on the CHEAP and didn't pay the ridiculous handrail prices companies try to charge. I also didn't want to get the cheaper handrails because they feel thin, weak and just poor quality.
