If you don't throw anything away or sell anything throughout your life, if you keep everything and make sure everything stays functional, then you inevitably have your own little museum. Even as a child, Michael couldn't part with anything. His father, who was also a great collector, set an example for him. So Michael can say with satisfaction that he has preserved his childhood and youth.
