This video was shot from The Downstream Campsite below the Garrison Dam on the Missouri River. The Garrison Dam is located near the center of North Dakota on Highway 200 (which runs right over the top of the Garrison Dam) between Riverdale ND and Pick City ND. The trail from which I filmed this is at the very end of Hatchery Road. The Downstream Campground is strewn along Hatchery Road.
The Downstream Campground is broken up into three sites. I believe that the first and second sites have power available to most, if not all, of the individual camping spaces. The third site is basically right on the road and camping trailers are NOT allowed off of the road. We had such a site. Our perticular site/space was at the end of the road and we really enjoyed where we were as it gave us immediate access to the trail as filmed as well as another excellent trail that leads to a good spot on the river for fishing.
