Garrison Dam release into the Missouri River with a flow of 130,000 cubic feet per second on June 8, 2011. This video also shows the spillway that was opened for the first time in history last week. It takes an estimated 30-36 hours for this water to arrive in the Bismarck-Mandan, N.D. area.
