72 players for Fourth Edition of PYC - Realty Seven Chess League 2024

Pune, July 11, 2024: A total of 72 players will represent 6 teams in the fourth Edition of PYC - Realty Seven Chess League 2024 that will be organised by the PYC Hindu Gymkhana and will be played at PYC Chess Hall on 13th and 14th July 2024.

“We at the PYC host various leagues in different sports. For the Fourth time, with the support of Mr.Kapil Trimal, Director of Realty Seven we are hosting a chess league for its members. We are thankful to Mr. Kapil Trimal for their unparalleled support ” Mr. Kumar Tamhane, President of PYC Hindu Gymkhana said.

“We already host six leagues in cricket, badminton, football, basketball and carom. We prioritize health and recreation of the members. A Chess league will provide another platform for our members to come together and bond over a sport,” Mr. Sarang Lagu, secretary of the club said.

Mr.Shirish Sathe, Chess Secretary said that, The players were selected via auction. Shubhankar Menon(60,000pts, Golden Kings), Tanmay Chitale(51,000pts, 7 Knights), Mihir Naniwadekar(41,000pts, Gloden Tridents) and Aditya Lakhe(41,000pts, Maratha Warriors) were the top picks.

The six teams are: 7 Knights (owned by Kapil Trimal), Kings 64 (owned by Amol Jog & Ashutosh Agashe), Maratha Warriors (Dr. Shirish Gandhi), Wadeshwar Wizards (Swanand Bhave), Golden Kings (Niranjan Godbole), Goldfieldd Tridents (owned by Anil Chhajed, Rohan and Anuj Chhajed).

A tournament committee comprising of Shirish Sathe, Amod Pradhan, International Arbiter Atharva Godbole has been formed for the smooth conduct of the event.

चौथ्या पीवायसी - रिअल्टी सेव्हन चेस लीग स्पर्धेत ७२ खेळाडू सहभागी

पुणे, दि.११ जुलै २०२४ - पीवायसी हिंदू जिमखाना आयोजित चौथ्या पीवायसी - रिअल्टी सेव्हन चेस लीग स्पर्धेत ७२ खेळाडूंनी आपला सहभाग निश्चित केला आहे. १३ व १४ जुलै २०२४ रोजी पीवायसी जिमखाना येथील बुद्धिबळ संकुलात ही स्पर्धा रंगणार आहे.

आम्ही पीवायसी हिंदू जिमखाना येथे विविध क्रीडाप्रकारांच्या लीग स्पर्धा आयोजित करीत असतो. सलग चौथ्या वर्षी सभासदांसाठी बुद्धिबळ लीग स्पर्धा आयोजित करताना आम्हांला आनंद होत आहे, असे पीवायसीचे अध्यक्ष कुमार ताम्हाणे यांनी सांगितले.

क्लबचे सचिव सारंग लागू म्हणाले, की आम्ही याआधी क्रिकेट, बॅडमिंटन, फुटबॉल, बास्केटबॉल व कॅरम लीग स्पर्धा आयोजित केल्या आहेत. आम्ही सभासदांचे आरोग्य व मनोरंजनासाठी विविध प्रकारे प्रयत्न करीत असतो. चेस लीगमुळे सभासदांना एका व्यासपीठावर येण्यास, तसेच बुद्धिबळासारख्या खेळाच्या माध्यमातून परस्पर नातेसंबंध दृढ होण्यास साहाय्य होणार आहे. स्पर्धेला रिअल्टी सेव्हनचे कपिल त्रिमल यांचे प्रायोजकत्व लाभले आहे. रिअल्टी सेव्हनचे कपिल त्रिमल यांनी या स्पर्धेला दिलेल्या अतुलनीय पठिंब्याबद्दल त्यांचे आम्ही क्लबच्या वतीने आभार मानतो

पुढे माहिती देताना चेस विभागाचे सचिव श्री शिरीष साठे म्हणाले की, या लीगमध्ये सहा संघ भाग घेणार आहेत संघांची नावे पुढीलप्रमाणे आहेत: १) गोल्डफिल्ड ट्रायडेंट्स (मालक अनिल छाजेड, रोहन छाजेड व अनुज छाजेड), किंग्ज ६४ ( मालक अमोल जोग व आशुतोष आगाशे), मराठा वॉरियर्स (मालक डॉ.शिरीष गांधी), वाडेश्वर विझार्ड्स (स्वानंद भावे), ७ नाईट्स (मालक कपिल त्रिमल )व गोल्डन किंग्ज (निरंजन गोडबोले).

लिलावात सर्वाधिक किंमत व पसंती मिळालेले खेळाडू असे आहेत- शुभांकर मेनन(गोल्डन किंग्ज,६००००पॉईंट्स), तन्मय चितळे (७ नाईट्स, ५१०००पॉईंट्स), मिहीर नानिवडेकर(गोल्डन ट्रायडेंट्स, ४१,०००पॉईंट्स) आणि आदित्य लाखे(मराठा वॉरियर्स, ४१,०००पॉईंट्स)

स्पर्धेच्या संयोजन समितीत शिरीष साठे, आमोद प्रधान, इंटरनॅशनल आरबीटर अथर्व गोडबोले यांचा समावेश आहे.
