In this video I got an idea on how to make a diy planter box so I've made a design of some Large wooden garden flower diy planters. The Flower diy planter is really easy to build. To make the diy planter project all I used was some 13 mm ply 50 x 50 pine and 25x25 pine.

The total height of the diy planter is 475mm tall and 546mm square. I'd cut the four legs for the diy planter using 50x50 pine at 450mm and then routed a 13mm chanel on two sides at 10mm deep. I never went all the way down the legs with the chanel i stopped 50mm from the end of the legs. I then cut the 13mm ply into four 400mm squares. From there i then routed 5mm deep grooves every 100mm to give the effect of separate panels. Now that the planter side panels are made I test fitted them prior the glue to make sure they all fit.

After glueing up I then started making the edge around the inside bottom of the planter now this would be for an insert i made these out of 25mm x 25mm and glued them in place.

I then started with the top of the flower planter using 70mmx25mm pine i cut four pieces at 546mm and cut a 45 angle on all the ends. I then used a biscuit joiner to line up the corners and glued and clamped them in place. ?To attach the top edge i just drilled through the top of the planter top with a 6mm drill and fitted dowels to secure the top edge.

After all the glue had dried I sprayed the garden flower planters with garden shades in a colour called muted clay. They really turned out great.
