Restoring ATV plastics on a 1987 Honda 250x. This process can be used to restore dirtbike plastics, too I wasn't shooting for show quality, but they needed to be revived. I start with wet sanding starting at 400 grit and working my way up 600, 1000, 1500. Once done, I use a heatgun to bring back the gloss into the plastics. Fininsh them up with some McGuire's Polish spray. It's a lot of work and takes time, but it's worth it and cheaper than buying new plastics. Im really pleased with how well the grey and red came out on this Honda ATV. Thank you for watching. Please don't forget to subscribe.
