How To Clean Your ENGINE BAY - DetailingTheWhiteWay Series

► Process recap.
1 - Work only on a cool engine. Remove loose dirt/twigs & leaves
2 - Protect exposed electrical components, ECUs, battery terminals, alternators or cold air intakes as a precautionary measure
3 - Work top down, starting with the underside of the bonnet
4 - Keep adjacent panels well rinsed to avoid chemicals drying on them
5 - Rinse engine compartment with LOW pressure to shift the loose dirt and dust
6 - Apply engine degreaser and begin to agitate with selection of brushes
7 - Rinse engine compartment with LOW pressure
8 - Towel or blow the engine bay dry
9 - Liberally apply engine bay dressing and with a vehicle dryer/blower or air compressor, spread the dressing evenly
10 - Mop up any remaining excess product with a microfibre section
11 - Re-wash the car or Quick Detail the surrounding panels to safely remove any overspray
