Body mass index is a value derived from the mass and height of a person and calculated by dividing the body mass by the square of the body height

In this video, we take a look at Body Mass Index (BMI) data as reported by national health surveys regarding the average BMI of Black males and females. We also look at the averages in other racial groups. When we compare the physical characteristics of these groups, some very interesting information is revealed. Other relevant statistics in this study are height, weight, and waist-size.
