On April 30, 2017, 01 150 was traveling with a special train from Hanau to Bochum-Dahlhausen. On the way there, after a stop in Niedernhausen, the long climb to Idstein had to be overcome. On the return journey, the 01 loudly leaves Limburg to tackle the long climb to Idstein after a water stop in Eschhofen.
