In 2012, Norfolk Southern painted 10 EMD SD70ACes and 10 GE ES44ACs as special heritage units. Each unit wears the paint schemes and markings of the various predecessor railroads of Norfolk Southern. Several NS heritage units have made their way into Northern California and I was lucky enough to catch a few of them. Here are the top five NS heritage units that I caught from 2015-2018. Enjoy:)
