Koska minullakin on paljon seuraajia, koen velvollisuudekseni kertoa heille tilanteesta.

Eli Pääkaupunkiseudun Kaupunkiliikenne Oy on kieltänyt kaikenlaisen videokuvaamisen ajamisen aikana. Tämä koskee siis kaikkia kuljettajia niin metropuolella että raitiovaunupuolella. Syynä on ajoturvallisuus. Tämän vuoksi en enää kuvaa videomateriaalia ajon aikana, jollei tuohon tule muutosta.

Itse olen aina kuvannut videoni turvallisesti, enkä ole pitänyt puhelinta, tai kameraa, kädessäni. Mutta ymmärrän kyllä tämän asian takana olevat periaatteet. Turvallisuus liikenteessä tärkeintä.

First, a short announcement. My colleagues ‎‪@TheTaffu‬ and ‪@koodis_fi‬ have already mentioned this on their own accounts.

Since I also have a lot of followers, I feel it's my duty to let them know about the situation.

In other words, Pääkaupunkiseudun Kaupunkiliikenne Oy has banned all kinds of video recording while driving. This therefore applies to all drivers, both on the metro side and on the tram side. The reason is driving safety. Because of this, I will no longer shoot video footage while driving, unless that changes.

Personally, I have always shot my videos safely, and I have not held a phone or a camera in my hand. But I do understand the principles behind this. Safety in traffic is the most important thing.

Mannerheimintietä kesällä 2022. Tämä oli eräitä ensimmäisiä videointejani raitiovaununkuljettajana. Videota raitiovaunun sivuikkunasta.

Tällä hetkellä Mannerheimintiellä on menossa isompi remontti, ja videolla kuvatulla alueella ei raitiovaunut liiku.

Mannerheimintiestä hieman seuraavassa: "
Mannerheimintie (ruots. Mannerheimvägen; ent. Heikinkatu, Läntinen ja Itäinen Henrikinkatu, Turuntie, Läntinen Viertotie) on Helsingin pääkatu. Samalla se muodostaa osan Eurooppatietä E12 ja on valtatie 3:n jatke.

5,5 kilometriä pitkä Mannerheimintie alkaa Erottajalta Helsingin kantakaupungin ytimestä ja loppuu Vihdintien ja Hakamäentien risteykseen, jossa se muuttuu Hämeenlinnanväyläksi. Mannerheimintie on yksi Helsingin kantakaupungin sisääntuloteistä, jonka kautta Turunväylän, Vihdintien ja Hämeenlinnanväylän liikenne ohjataan kaupunkiin.

Maaliskuussa 2023 Mannerheimintiellä käynnistyi laaja peruskorjaus, jossa uusitaan noin satavuotias kunnallistekniikka. Muun muassa katupintoja, raitiotiekiskoja ja vuonna 1894 valmistunut Mannerheimintien silta uusitaan. Peruskorjauksen arvioidaan valmistuvan vuoden 2025 loppupuolella. Hanketta on kutsuttu Helsingin historian suurimmaksi katuremontiksi."

At the moment, Mannerheimintie is undergoing a major renovation, and trams do not run in the area depicted in the video.

A little about Mannerheim in the following: "
Mannerheimintie (Swedish: Mannerheimvägen; formerly Heikinkatu, Läntinen and Itäinen Henrikinkatu, Turuntie, Läntinen Viertotie) is Helsinki's main street. At the same time, it forms part of the European road E12 and is an extension of highway 3.

The 5.5 kilometer long Mannerheimintie starts from Erottaja in the heart of Helsinki's inner city and ends at the intersection of Vihdintie and Hakamäentie, where it turns into Hämeenlinnanväylä. Mannerheimintie is one of the entrance roads to the inner city of Helsinki, through which traffic from Turunväylä, Vihdintie and Hämeenlinnanväylä is directed into the city.

In March 2023, Mannerheimintie started an extensive renovation, in which municipal technology that is about a hundred years old will be renewed. Among other things, street surfaces, tram tracks and the Mannerheimintie bridge, which was completed in 1894, will be renewed. The overhaul is estimated to be completed at the end of 2025. The project has been called the biggest street renovation in the history of Helsinki."
