Before watching this, Kees and I would like to address a MAJOR SPOILER WARNING for all three of the 'Cornetto' films! So if you haven't seen 'Shaun of the Dead', 'Hot Fuzz' and 'The World's End', proceed at your own risk!

A romantic comedy with zombies, a buddy cop action extravaganza set in the English Countryside, and a pub crawl with apocalyptic results. Edgar Wright's 'Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy' delivers some of the biggest (literally) gut-busting laughs in modern cinema. Even beyond the comedic elements, the storytelling, editing and even the score/song choices are so meticulously crafted together that you'll find yourself discovering new things upon every rewatch. They're not just good for laughs, but incredible as three standalone films too. Yet of course, this trilogy wouldn't be what it is without the unforgettable duo of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. Not once have the two of them failed at giving us outstanding chemistry across their various paired roles.

'Three Flavours Cornetto' is a fan-created retrospective expressing why these three films are so memorable, the details that tie them together, and the laughs that keep us coming back for more.

'Three Flavours Cornetto' also marks my first collaboration with another editor. Assembling this retrospective with the wonderfully talented Kees van Dijkhuizen jr. was a great pleasure and I certainly hope this isn't the last time we work together.

So grab a Cornetto (and a pint) and take look back at Edgar Wright's brilliant trilogy! Let's Boo Boo!

UPDATE: You may or may not have even noticed it, but for some reason YouTube shifted the audio back a few frames during the encoding (believe me, it was fine upon the initial upload). It's a minor issue, but for those of you who are distracted by this (like myself), a properly synced version can be seen on Vimeo! https://vimeo.com/80733004

Sorry for that trouble!
