With the Star Wars sequel trilogy falling well short of what you would expect a coherent trilogy to be, I'm back to do a deep-dive on one of the best trilogies of all time: The Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy.

But is it really a trilogy? Can three films that tell totally distinct stories even be classed as a trilogy? And if it can, what is it all about?
