Siamese algae eaters (Crossocheilus spp.) eat the algae that had grown on the Anubias which were exposed outside for several months. They were just fed fresh green peas a day before the introduction of the algae into the planted tank and were also already feeding on the dying part of hornworts being acclimatized to the water. At the same time they also get fed with the regular prepared fish food along with the tetras and other fish in the aquarium.
