Victor, Colorado, was once a bustling gold mining town. Some of the largest and richest gold mines in the Cripple Creek Mining District were near Victor on Battle Mountain.

Today, the historic town has less than 400 residents but it is still full of gems! πŸ’Ž

The Vindicator Valley Trail is a 2-mile loop that goes past numerous historic mining sites. The ruins and relics are visible from the trail and the scenery is amazing!

After the hike, grab a bite to eat at Gold Camp Bakery. The German-American cafe serves breakfast and lunch and has a delicious selection of baked goods.

The next gem is the historic downtown walking tour. Grab a free map outside the Victor Lowell Thomas Museum and stroll the historic district. Don't forget to check out the impressive Nikola Tesla mural!

And, of course, no trip to Victor is complete without stopping to visit Rita the Rock Planter.

Victor is a small town full of treasures. Check it out!
