東京の東村山市と埼玉の所沢市にまたがる低い山の連なりが八国山緑地です。宮崎監督の「となりのトトロ」の舞台になったとされています。その南に位置する北山公園の湿地には花菖蒲が多数植えられ、更には稲も植えられるなどして、昔ながらの田園風景も味わうことが出来ます。6月には「菖蒲祭り」が開催されて多くの人々を楽しませてくれます。

【選曲♪】
1781年4月2日にウィーンで作曲されたヴァイオリンと管弦楽のための作品。4月8日に催された音楽会のために、コロレド大司教の求めに応じて作曲したとされています。 大司教に同行していたザルツブルク宮廷楽団のヴァイオリン奏者アントニオ・ブルネッティのために作曲されたものです。ニ長調に移調したフルート協奏曲版（K.Anh.184）が1790年ごろに出版されており、モーツァルト自身が編曲したか、少なくとも編曲に関与したと考えられています。明るく上品な調べは、モーツァルト独自の美しい世界を創り出しています。

【Location♪】
“Hachikokuyamaryokuchi“ is a range of low mountains that straddles Higashimurayama City in Tokyo and Tokorozawa City in Saitama. This area is said to be the setting for director Miyazaki's "My Neighbor Totoro." To the south of this area, Kitayama Park is home to a number of irises planted in the marshes, and rice is also planted, allowing visitors to experience the traditional rural scenery. In June, the "Iris Festival" is held, which is enjoyed by many people.

【About Music♪】
This work for violin and orchestra was composed in Vienna on April 2, 1781. It is said to have been composed at the request of Archbishop Colloredo for a concert held on April 8. It was composed for Antonio Brunetti, a violinist in the Salzburg court orchestra who accompanied the archbishop. A flute concerto version (K.Anh.184) transposed to D major was published around 1790, and it is thought that Mozart himself arranged it, or at least was involved in arranging it. The bright and elegant melody creates a beautiful world unique to Mozart.
