SPICY BEEF JERKIES

500 gr daging sapi (1 lb of beef)
3 sdm bumbu dasar putih (3 tbsp of white curry solution)
3 siung bawang putih (3 cloves of garlic)
3 siung bawang merah (3 bulbs of shallot)
3 btr kemiri (3 candlenuts)
1/2 sdt lada (1/2 tsp of pepper)
1 sdm ketumbar bubuk (1 tbsp of coriander powder)
1 ruas jari jahe (a dice of ginger)
1 ibu jari asam Jawa (1 tbsp of tamarind)
1 ibu jari lengkuas (1 tbsp of galangal)
1 bt sereh (a stalk of lemongrass)
3 lbr daun salam (3 Indonesian bayleaves)
500 ml air (2 cups of water)

sambal:
150 gr cabai merah keriting (6 oz of red chili)
100 bawang merah (4 oz of shallot)
2 sdt garam (2 tsp of salt)
3 sdm air larutan asam Jawa (3 tbsp of tamarind water)
minyak secukupnya (frying oil)
