This was without a doubt the scariest and sketchiest recovery I've ever done, so I enlisted the help of my friend Jason with the Primal Outdoors YouTube channel that you can check out at    / primaloutdoors   . This is an area that basically right in our backyard and is a beautiful view of the canyon, river, and reservoir. But unfortunately someone thought it would be fun to jump a riding lawnmower off the cliff and down into the canyon. We wanted that eyesore out of there before it attracted even more garbage to be dumped over the edge, so I built a homemade gin pole gantry crane like is used in the oil fields and drill rig sites, then spliced together a couple of ‪@YankumRopes‬ to have enough reach with my ‪@harborfreight‬ Badlands winch. The job went perfectly and we got not only the mower, but some tires, and a bunch of small trash cleaned up as well.
