How to make your own charcoal at home and for free! Why not save money and have fun making this charcoal at home for free!? This is the same process no matter the tin size and how much charcoal you are trying to make for grilling. Use a same container as char cloth and charcoal; burn off the gases and impurities and make PURE Carbon Charcoal.

I would advise a bigger 5 gallon barrel inside a 55 gallon barrel or even bigger to improve your production of your charcoal, but this is a simple method to make your own charcoal for grilling!
