Apricots are called apricots in Germany.
The pruning of apricot trees is one of the most requested topics by our customers. If you follow a few basic rules, you can quickly achieve success.

It is very important to choose the right time for pruning. Summer pruning or pruning at white bud / flowering is preferable to winter pruning.
It is essential to prune WITHOUT stumps. If small stumps are left after pruning, they usually heal very badly in apricots and can lead to the death of the tree.

Apricots, like all other fruits, need a lot of light. When pruning, always make sure to use the sunlight as much as possible and cut light windows into the tree.

We wish you good success in pruning your trees and are, as always, very happy to receive your feedback :)
