This song was sung four years ago about my mother. I have used two of the most Chinese poems both reflecting the sentiments of "longing" with the traveling son and the gentle affection of a mother - sewing up the piece of clothing for the traveling son -- which had cross over into the second poem indicating much of the sentiments of the traveler, under a frosted but moon lit floor --- longing for his hometown -- Thus this tying in of the two poems became the lyric of this song. The idea I have is to allow all the millions and million Chinese youngsters to sing in ACapella sound. This entire production is to the credit of Kiko Perrone of Sao Paulo, who had also composed this version in Portuguese. This is part of the expression of my very rich cross cultural life with my deepest sentiments and link to Brazil -- with the two richest words in my life -- "Calor Humano". Thank you also to Gustavo Melges, my German/Brazilian and my partner in our digital ventures today. I wish all the many more children who are capable to sing in this native tune in Cantonese -- but also, this song will not be limited to any languages -- moving forward, we will be seeking the next sound with the Uighurs in Xinjiang, making the sort of solidarity to all minority ethnic groups in China and in the world. My deepest thanks to these three Brazilians who had influenced much of my life - Darcy Ribeiro, Paulo Freire and Jorge Amado ... São amados por mim.
