I went to Whole Foods and bought a bunch of different vegan cheeses so I could taste test them for you. I also got my non-vegan friends and family to taste test them as well, so non-vegans could rate the cheeses as well. I then did a meltability test (I feel like some vegan cheeses don’t melt as well as dairy cheese, so for me – THE ULTIMATE GRILLED CHEESE LOVER – it’s important to see how these guys behave when exposed to heat or cooked). To do this, “do vegan cheeses melt?” test I made mini-pizza bagels! I then did a SECOND taste test with my non-vegan folks as well with the mini-pizza bagels.
