Starting from a pushcart along Sungei Road, Ah Tee has been selling Ko Ko Mee for over 50 years. Meanwhile, tucked away in a corner of Coronation Shopping Plaza, My Cosy Corner has become a food institution among the residents and students in the area.

But with COVID-19 dining restrictions, these two food-stalls have seen their customer numbers dwindle. And while delivery is a lifeline for many hawkers, both Ah Tee Ko Ko Mee and My Cosy Corner have not subscribed to delivery services.

With uncertainty over their succession plans, could the pandemic spell the end of these beloved dishes?
