Making it into remission from any cancer is a big deal. After a stage 4 metastatic melanoma diagnosis, I think it's always appropriate to celebrate these milestones.

Right now, I'm stressed because I'm having a cancer scare, but I need to acknowledge that this will be a lot of my life as a young adult with an advanced cancer diagnosis. Even if this comes back clean, it's unrealistic to think that I won't have cancer scares in the future.

Thus, I'm going to focus on the positives. Mostly, I'm excited that this YouTube channel and the online communities that I've become a part of have been so helpful in keeping my mental health in line and giving me a constructive outlet to find meaning in day-in and day-out.
