My name is Mike Linn, and I'm a stage 4 melanoma patient who just made it into 7 months of remission. This is a perfect opportunity for me to show you what it is like to live with an advanced cancer diagnosis, as I am still in the middle of a big cancer scare that would put my remission in jeopardy.

In spite of the scare, I am fortunate to have the outcomes that I've had and the opportunities that lie in front of me. Stage 4 metastatic melanoma used to be a death sentence. That's not always the case anymore, and it's allowed me to find hope and meaning in my life as a cancer patient advocate.
