In my shoes with advanced dementia is a video I wanted to create to help caregivers and loved ones learn what a person in late stages might be going through. I have worked very closely with people with all stages of dementia for the past 15 years and wanted to share techniques to help those in the late stage of dementia. This includes all types of dementia: Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Lewy Body, Frontotemporal, Vascular Dementia and Early Onset/Younger Onset Dementia. How to talk to someone with dementia or Alzheimer's is a video I created to try to help others working with those with dementia.

I am working on creating other videos to pass on what I have learned (what works and doesn't work) when providing meaningful activities and caring for those with dementia. I hope some of these tips will help you and the person you are caring for. This video is created specifically for advanced, severe or late-stage dementia.

Please hit the red subscribe button below the video to see future videos with tips of meaningful activities I have found to actually work. I hope these videos will help you when caring for others with dementia.

Thanks for watching!
