The Spanish pronoun “vos” is used in many Latin American countries instead of “tú” or “ti”. However, “voseo” is often ignored when the language is taught outside those areas. Using the pronoun “vos” is easier than using “tú” and “ti”. In this brief Spanish lesson, you will learn the conjugation in imperative and present tense, the countries where it is used, the irregularities and more.

Not all Latin American countries uses “voseo” in the same way. Here we will see “voseo rioplatense argentino”, which may be the best example, as it is used on its pronominal and verbal form, as standard, by every social class, in written and oral language, and never combined with tú. Other varieties may have small differences in the conjugation and use.
If you are interested in a specific variety of voseo, I suggest checking the following chart after watching the video (especially if you are interested in Chilean voseo 🇨🇱).
