The Helix Midnight Luxe mattress is a 13.5″ hybrid mattress that uses a combination of poly foam, pocketed coils, and a quilted cover. Compared to the standard Helix Midnight, the Midnight Luxe has a thicker cover and more contour (especially beneficial for side sleepers).

This mattress has moderate sinkage (20% deeper than the standard Helix Midnight) and high levels of bounce.

It comes in a single firmness, 6 out of 10, which gives the mattress a medium-firm feel.

In our performance test, the Midnight Luxe scored higher than the average mattress by a healthy margin (average score is 8.61).

That being said, you get what you pay for and the price of the Helix Midnight Luxe is 38% more than the average hybrid mattress. Overall, we found the Midnight Luxe to be a balanced mattress with above average performance.
