For the past few weeks, I've been working on loan at St Helens depot instead of doing my usual stuff at Southport. I've been driving 352s, 395s and 37s for the duration of my loan spell which has given me a chance to shake things up and drive dozens of different buses I'd never previously had (albeit almost exclusively Pulsars).

On this particular occasion, I had the wonderful 2990 on an empty run from Wigan Bus Station to Jackson Street Depot, St Helens via Marus Bridge and Haydock, having just finished up the last 395 of the day. Lots of thrash, a bit of overrevving and some nice bursts of speed including a short stretch on the M6 motorway.
