This is my first full piece using my watercolours as part of a mixed-media artwork. I start by squeezing out some of the paint in each colour onto the palette and testing them out, mixing the colours to see how this works. I then move on to creating a random piece with no real plan, splodging colours on the page in a rough 'green for ground, blue for sky' fashion. Using my new Faber-Castell pencils, I added some texture and structure to the piece. I then use my Ohuhu markers and POSCA pens for more vibrancy and detail. I'm really pleased with how the piece turned out.
