The DROP X-Mid 1P is a trekking pole supported, double wall tent. This tent is only available from DROP.com and is designed by Canadian thru-hiker Dan Durston. The X-Mid comes seem sealed from the factory and includes everything you need to pitch the tent right out of the box--minus the trekking poles. At just under 32oz and a price point of $200, the X-Mid offers an excellent value-to-weight ratio. The X-Mid also comes in a two person version. I'm looking forward to getting this tent out on some trips to see how it performs.
