As promised, this is a post CWT review of the Dan Durston XMid 1P. I got mine via Drop and it's been an excellent purchase. I think you get a double skinned ultra light set up at a half the price (maybe even a third) of a Dyneema/Cuben tent. It'worth noting that it packs down smaller than DCF as well. It's not free standing so if you don't use tracking poles then maybe it's not the 'no brainer' it is for me.
