💰What I bought (frame of reference of prices)
Paintings: €40-80 each
Brown Sofa & White Méridienne: €100-€150
Lamps: €30-75 each
Rugs: I spent €400 total for the pair
Golden magazine rack: €65
Green baby statue (lmao): €220 ish
Vases: You can get these from €5 all the way to €100+ euros

🚬 Sites and places to go
I bought half the stuff from this site: https://leboncoin.fr
Where to find the flea markets happening that day: https://vide-greniers.org/75-paris
Porte de Vanves (hit or miss prices but 10x more affordable than the more famous flea market at Marché aux Puces Saint-Ouen)
Emmaüs Neuilly sur Marne (there is another fiftten minutes by foot called Neuilly Plaisance)
Emmaüs Riquet (A clusterf*ck to be honest. World War 3. But inside of Paris)
Art museum gift shops (You can find all kinds of unique items)
Banque de l'Image (Friendly and helpful store for poster and framing needs)

🎨 Tips
1. It's all about the trays and layering. The knick-knacks.
2. One-of-a-kind items like big nose sculptures (lmao) are unique and interesting. If you're drawn to something, perhaps you should buy it?
3. Rugs and curtains tie the space together and make it feel more like a home. If this apartment hadn't come with those beige curtains (and if it didn't cost €500 to redo them), I definitely would have bought burgundy baroque curtains to give it more of a castle vibe.
4. Spend your money on things that will take up space (a big rug, a sofa, a big painting). You can get knick knacks like frames, bowls, and vases at flea markets.
5. If you can get a view, get a view. No possession is worth more than a beautiful view you see every day.
