To me, Mars has a striking resemblance to Arrakis and I wanted to try and capture that with these visuals. The music in this piece is back to basics with an ethereal space ambient drone and sci-fi inspired sequences. It's created to help with relaxation and focus.

The video showcases some sweeping shots of Mars from orbit going down onto the surface, moving through the canyons and dunes. We have a brief day/night cycle timelapse and a cameo of Phobos, so look out for that!

SpaceEngine does a great job of converting surface photographs of Mars into a 3D surface and shows us some nice detail in the Valles Marineris canyon.
