The Lallantop team is in Madhubani to cover Bihar Loksabha Elections 2024. We went to Jitvarpur village of Madhubani which is famous for it's Mithila Painting. Sonal Pateria met some women who explained her about Madhubani Painting which is also know as Mithila Painting and they expalined us about it's history and relevance. They also told us about the mythological story around Ram and Sita related to Mithila Painting. 3 women of Jitvarpur village also won Padmashree award for their Mithila Paintings.
