Oftentimes when you smoke #brisket, you'll have plenty of leftovers. And making chili with that brisket is one of the best ways to utilize those leftovers. For this video, we smoked the brisket chili on our #KamadoJoe Big Joe. Plan on setting aside a few hours to smoke the chili, and here is everything you'll need:
1 pasilla pepper
1 Anaheim pepper
2 jalapeños
1 red bell pepper
2 pounds leftover brisket point
1 pound breakfast sausage
1 pound ground beef
28 oz can diced tomatoes
1/3 cup brown sugar
3 tbsp tomato paste
1 can beef broth
4 cloves of garlic
1 yellow onion
1/4 cup bbq sauce
2 chipotles in adobo
1 can of kidney beans
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 t chili powder
2 tsp chipotle powder
1 tsp ancho chili powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp crushed red pepper
1 tsp bbq rub
1 tsp paprika
2 tbsp olive oil
