---- Ingredients and step by step recipe ----
🍏🍎No flour apple pie.
Form 24 cm x 14 cm x 6 cm
Eggs (large) … 3 pcs.
Sugar … 100 g
Milk … 150 ml
Butter … 50 g (can be without)
Corn starch … 100 g
Salt … ¼ tsp
Vanilla extract … 1 tsp
Lemon … 1 pc.
Apples (unpeeled) … 1200 g
Nut crumbs:
Almond flour (or other) … 50 g
Sugar … 20 g
Butter … 20 g
Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 60 minutes.
Step-by-step recipe
For nut crumble:
Almond flour - 100 g
Sugar - 2 tbsp
Melt butter - 2 tbsp
Preparation:
Preparing nut crumble:
In a bowl, mix almond flour with sugar.
Add melted butter and mix until crumble forms.
Refrigerate.
Preparing the pan:
Line a 24 x 1 cm, 6 cm high pan with parchment paper greased with butter.
Preparing the apples:
Peel the apples, remove the core and grate on a coarse grater.
Mix the grated apples with the zest and lemon juice.
Preparing the custard:
In a bowl, mix sugar, starch and salt.
Gradually add milk, mixing well until smooth.
Add vanilla extract and mix.
To combine:
Pour the custard over the apples and stir gently.
Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth it out.
Spread the nut crumbs evenly on top.
To bake:
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Bake the pie for about 1 hour, until the crumbs are golden. If necessary, cover with foil if the crumbs start to burn.
To cool:
Let the pie cool in the pan until the custard has set well.
To serve:
Serve the pie chilled. Enjoy!
