A flashy and vibrant swirling Australian boulder opal is the centerpiece of this unique necklace. This piece is mostly full-faced with swirling, feather-like patterns flashing green within the opal on a blue base, as well as hints of pink, gold, and blue. The boulder opal has been expertly and securely set into a handcrafted fine silver bezel, with a sterling silver backing; it is mounted on a simple three-ring bail, which lets the pendant slide smoothly along the chain, moving as you do. The boulder opal measures 17 x 12 x 4 millimeters (at its longest, widest, and deepest points) and weighs 8.00 carats; the sterling silver chain is currently 20 inches in length, (but can be shortened upon request) and is finished with a sterling silver lobster clasp.
The necklace in the photos is the exact one you will receive!
I use primarily reclaimed silver, eco-friendly processing, crafting, and polishing techniques, locally-sourced materials whenever possible. I handcraft each of my pieces individually; none of the settings are cast or pre-fabricated. All photos were taken using only sunlight as the lighting source.
