This video can serve as a visual guide up the standard / easiest West Lion scramble route, although various ways can be taken once out of the trees. I hope this video will also serve as a judgement call for some people so they realize what they are up against before trying to tackle the West Lion. Happy scrambling, and stay safe!

Things to remember when scrambling:
Test your holds, there was a death on this scramble a few years back from a loose rock giving way.
Prepare for weather, if there is a chance of cloud or fog make sure you are prepared to stay on the summit and do NOT try down climbing in the fog if you are unfamiliar with the route, as you do NOT want to end up off route.
Remember that going down is harder. If you're having extreme difficulty going up, please remember that fact.
Have a safety contact who knows where exactly you're going and what time to expect word from you, in case of emergency so they can contact SAR.
