Can you rotisserie cook a 5 lb Chicken in an AICOOK Airfryer? Dad Finds Out!

Dad fired up his new AICOOK air fryer over and tried to rotisserie cook a 5 lb chicken and things went as well as you would expect for Dad. There were some, issues. So Dad adjusted and pulled of a super tasty whole Air-Fired chicken, just not rotisserie.

Whole Air Fried Chicken Recipe or "Guide"

Ingredients

2-5 lb Whole Chicken
Olive Oil
Salt
Pepper
1/2 Inch of Fresh Ginger
1/2 Onion
Minced Garlic or Garlic Cloves

Spices - DAD USED
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
Paprika
Basil

Equipment

Air Fryer Large Enough to Fit Bird
Butchers Twine

1 - Remove any "innards" from the bird. Dry the bird with paper towels.
2 - Rough Chop the onion, ginger and garlic.
3 - Season the inside with your desired spices & stuff with chopped items.
4 - Rub Bird with Olive Oil
5. Generously season outside of the bird with your spices.
6. Secure the legs and wings of the bird with butches twine so they are not sticking out.
7. Air Fry at 350 Degrees Until the Breast reaches 165 Degrees. Flip Halfway to ensure even cooking. Cooking time will vary depending on your cooker, the size of your bird, and other variables. Check with a good meat thermometer at about 30 minutes and gauge timing from there. Estimate 45 minutes to 1hour of cooking time.
