I spent 48 hours in Copenhagen trying all the Danish food and exploring the different neighborhoods!

The first cafe I went to was called Buka Bakery where I got this super creamy pistachio & croissant-like pastry. So sweet and so yummy! I then spent the morning wandering the streets and all the houses were so pretty and colorful! It's such a vibe walking around Copenhagen.

Then I made it to Nyhavn, which is the most popular view of Copenhagen with the colorful houses by the wharf. It definitely is one of the most beautiful row of houses in Copenhagen even though it's super touristy. I made my way to Torvehallerne, which is a food hall, and tried different Danish food and restaurants. I had a chia bowl and congee from Grod, smorrebrod from Rort, and chocolate from the local shop! Copenhagen also has a lot of design studios. I spent an afternoon checking a few out and got some ceramics to bring home with me.

The next day, I started at Hart Bageri, which is a bakery opened by the former head baker of Tartine in San Francisco. The hotdog bun was delicious and the bread was so flaky! I walked around the more low key and hip neighborhood of Norrebro and window shopped the vintage stores.

In the afternoon, I climbed up the Christiansborg Tower to get a panoramic view of the entire city. I then visited Christiana, which is a free commune area where they self-govern independently of Copenhagen and the rest of Denmark. Super interesting place and very intriguing to visit.

Overall, Copenhagen was beautiful and a lovely city to spend a weekend!
