As the Head of State of Cockpit Country, His Excellency Chief Richard Currie serves as the leader of the indigenous maroons who live in a sovereign republic predating the British Treaty. The Maroons have a very rich history, and has given Jamaica some of her most cherished and honoured freedom fighters. This is the journey of the current, and youngest, Head of State, Chief Richard Currie.
