Shanghai Media Group's Paris 2024 broadcast team has arrived in Paris and started preparations for producing the public 4K TV signals of the Olympics.

This is SMG's fourth time covering the Olympics. This time, some Chinese 'magic' has come with the team in Paris.

The team set off from Shanghai and travelled some 12,000 kilometers, passing through 13 cities in seven countries, to settle down with the self-developed 'Cube' 4K cloud broadcasting system in the Bercy Park in Paris.

In addition, InnoMotion, an AI broadcasting system whose IP rights are owned by SMG, will also be deployed for the first time in an international tournament. It will be used for data collection and digital recreation in table tennis and archery competitions, where the system will capture and the movements of the ping-pong balls and the arrows and recreate them virtually.

The team has also started installing broadcasting equipment in the famous Roland-Garros.
